General Paediatrics

I have specialised in Paediatric medicine for over 20 years and this has provided me with the opportunity to acquire a comprehensive knowledge of childhood illness and problems. I manage a broad array of general paediatric conditions in outpatients clinic and I also work in a busy NHS Children's and Young People's Emergency Department. I can help address a wide range of concerns including; infant feeding, weaning, gastroesophageal reflux, abdominal pain, constipation, headaches, rashes, breathing difficulties, coughing, asthma, wheezing, eczema, lymph nodes, urinary tract infections, viral infections and recurrent infections. An appointment with me lasts 45 minutes to allow for a detailed discussion and examination. If investigations are required, they can often be performed on the day and results are available promptly.

Respiratory Conditions

I have a special interest in paediatric respiratory medicine and lead an NHS respiratory service. Conditions that I can help with include; concerns about breathing, chronic cough, wheezing, pre-school wheeze, asthma and recurrent respiratory tract infections.

 

Allergic Conditions

I have specialist training in allergy (MSc Allergy) and expertise managing allergic conditions. I work in a popular and busy NHS allergy service. Conditions that I can help with include; food allergies, allergic reactions, hay fever, dust allergy, animal dander allergy, eczema and urticarial rashes.
