How it works
I see children and young people face to face at Syon Clinic in Brentford. Following a 45 minute consultation, a clinic letter will be emailed. The letter can be shared with your GP and other health professionals, Investigations can often be performed on the day. I can make referrals to other specialists if needed. Follow up appointments can be made if required and are available as telephone or face to face.
To book an appointment or enquire about my clinic, please use the contact form, email dr.ruth.mew@gmail.com, or book directly using Circlehealthgroup.co.uk
Radiological investigations
Radiological investigations including X-ray, ultrasound, MRI and CT scans can be performed at Syon Clinic for most children. Some radiological investigations cannot be performed on infants and toddlers. Please contact me if you have a specific query about an investigation.
Self funding
You do not need to have private insurance to see me, you can book and pay directly for a consultation.
Consultations cost from £190. Investigations are additional cost.
Insurance
I am registered with most insurers including:
AXA PPP
BUPA
Cigna
Aviva
WPA
VitalityHealth
Healix
Please contact your insurer to obtain a Pre-Authorisation code. This usually covers the first consultation and initial investigations.

Blood tests
Blood tests can be arranged with the phelbotomist for children 3 years and older. I am able to take blood tests from younger children and babies if required. Blood tests can often be performed on the same day as the clinic appointment.
Prescriptions
Private prescriptions can be issued if required. Alternatively, the clinic letter can be shared with your NHS GP who may be happy to prescribe the recommended treatments.
Endorsement
